Saturday, April 3 - by Brenton
    We woke up this morning at 5:15 a.m.. We left the Mission House at 6:15 AM for the main Mission House for breakfast and a devotion. The devotion was given by Paul Brewer who spoke from Judges 6. We left the Mission House for La Finca at 8:00 a.m. When we arrived at La Finca we began working. We had four different groups working at La Finca. One group painted a house, finished the inside and began the outside. A second group dug a trench around the future location of the tutoring center and gymnasium. The third group mixed cement and later poured it. The fourth group, Mr. David and Mr. Dwight, worked to wire lights in the bathrooms.
    After lunch the kids began to show up for Kid's Club. During Kid's Club, we had a group doing balloons, face painting, talking with the kids, crafts, and a few people working on construction. The craft was a little paper bag Easter bunny puppet. The kids loved it! The kids had a slip-'n-slide which they "dragged" most of the group to.
    After that, we went back to the Mission House for supper and an evening devotion where one of the girls on the leadership team from the local church gave her testimony. She is able to say 485 Bible verses from memory. After that we sat around and talked to everyone and some people played games the Tica girls taught them. We are having an amazing time in San Jose, Costa Rica!

Friday, April 2 - by Brooke
    This morning was an early morning. It started around 4:30 a.m. We arrived in Orlando around 9:00 a.m. and boarded the plane excited about the three hour flight to San Jose. We arrived in San Jose, Costa Rica around 11:50 a.m. and met with Mark and Meg to go the AMCA Mission house where we are staying. We unloaded the bus, ate lunch around 2:00 p.m. Then off to the La Finca where we helped with painting a house and playing soccer with the kids. We left La Finca around 5 p.m. to go eat dinner at The Mission House where we met the Louderbacks and had devotion. Presently preparing for tomorrows events.
